What could your property become? We’re Tim and Zofia, the two behind ZAHRADA. We work across Surrey on renovations, extensions, new homes and boutique hotels, considering architecture and interiors together from the start.
Our work ranges from the careful renovation of period and listed buildings to contemporary extensions, new homes and boutique hotels.
We understand that a cottage in a hamlet, a suburban family home and a country home in the Surrey Hills each require a different approach. We consider the building, its surroundings and how you want to use the space, developing the architecture and interiors together.
Where landscape protection, Green Belt policy or conservation requirements apply, these inform the design from the outset. We help you understand the planning risks, explore what’s possible and find a practical route towards the home you want.

Renovations.
Bring disconnected rooms and previous additions into a more coherent home. We develop the layout alongside kitchens, bathrooms, lighting and finishes, helping you make connected decisions rather than treating each room in isolation.

Whether replacing a house or buying a plot, we help establish what can realistically be built, then shape the design around your daily life, the site and its unique setting.

We are a small studio with direct involvement.
Our practice is just us, Tim & Zofia – you can probably work out who’s who from the photograph. You’ll work directly with the two of us from start to finish. Combined, we’re registered with the Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA) and the British Institute of Interior Designers (BIID).
We begin by listening to what you want to change, what you love already and how you want your home to feel. From there, we establish the brief, test the options and guide you through the decisions ahead.
